Role Overview

The Deployment Logistics Coordinator will oversee all logistics related to moving robots, spare parts, and equipment between FieldAI headquarters, customer sites, and field deployments. This role is a key liaison managing coordination with deployment, engineering, service, and hardware teams to guarantee seamless offsite operations. It also includes managing domestic and international shipments, freight forwarding, customs clearance, and compliance with country-specific shipping regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the entire logistics lifecycle for deploying and retrieving robots, spare parts, and equipment among HQ, field sites, and customers.
• Coordinate domestic and global shipments, including freight carrier engagement, customs documentation, and delivery scheduling.
• Maintain comprehensive inventory data covering asset locations, calibration status, shipping history, and equipment availability to ensure readiness.
• Oversee preparation, inspection, and documentation processes before deployment and upon equipment return.
• Act as the main logistics contact within Commercial Operations, facilitating transparent communication regarding availability, schedules, and potential issues.
• Keep detailed records of equipment usage, costs associated with shipping, and deployment history.
• Travel up to 25% of the time to client sites or events to assist with equipment setups, handoffs, or retrieval.
• Handle preparation, packaging, labeling, and inspection of robots, batteries, spare parts, and deployment materials for shipment.
• Receive returned gear, conduct intake inspections, and coordinate necessary repairs or parts replenishment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in logistics, shipping, asset management, or field operations coordination.
• Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication abilities, comfortable working across diverse teams and external partners.
• Proficient with tracking systems, spreadsheets, and project management tools such as Google Sheets, Jira, and Confluence.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment subject to rapid changes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in robotics, autonomous vehicles, or hardware logistics.
• Experience handling international shipments with knowledge of commercial invoices, customs paperwork, carnet management, import/export rules, and freight forwarding.
• Prior support experience at trade shows, product demonstrations, or customer events.
• Familiarity with inventory management or ERP systems.
