Compensation and Benefits

Delivery drivers earn an average of over $20 per hour combining wages, tips, and mileage reimbursement. Tips and mileage reimbursement are paid daily, while hourly wages are paid biweekly. Drivers have the choice to use their own vehicle, with mileage reimbursement covering fuel and additional vehicle expenses, or drive a company vehicle if they meet the eligibility criteria.

Job Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record verified via Motor Vehicle Report, and ability to pass a background check.
• Reliable vehicle and valid insurance if using own vehicle.
• Strong navigation skills and ability to read maps and locate addresses within the delivery zone.
• Ability to handle adverse terrain and multi-story buildings during delivery.
• Capability to follow instructions, perform repetitive tasks, work independently and cooperatively, handle stress, maintain quality standards, provide excellent customer service, make sound judgments, and analyze data.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Exposure to varying weather conditions during deliveries including temperature fluctuations and food-related odors.
• Work areas with compact spaces and potential exposure to hot surfaces, mechanical parts, sharp edges, and dust.
• Physical tasks such as walking, carrying pizzas and beverages, climbing stairs (up to five flights), stooping, bending, reaching in various directions, and continuous use of hands for pizza preparation and delivery duties.
• Essential sensory requirements include good hearing, vision (near, mid-range, far, and night), and tactile sensitivity to differentiate hot and cold surfaces.
