Delivery Driver

Role Overview

Delivery Drivers are vital members of the GSF Car Parts team, serving as frontline representatives by ensuring prompt delivery of automotive parts and maintaining excellent customer service standards. This role contributes significantly to the overall success of the organisation by engaging positively with customers and capturing valuable customer feedback to support continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Transporting automotive products to customers within a 40-mile radius of the branch.
• Maintaining consistently high levels of customer service during deliveries.
• Providing relevant customer and competitor feedback to the branch team.
• Loading vehicles following detailed procedural guidelines to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Collecting customer returns when necessary.
• Performing daily vehicle maintenance checks and ensuring the vehicle is in good condition.
• Supporting warehouse operations as required.
• Assisting with inter-branch transfer deliveries occasionally.

Working Hours

Approximately 41 hours per week from Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturdays.

Candidate Profile

• Holds a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Has at least three years of driving experience.
• Possesses thorough knowledge of the 40-mile delivery radius around the branch location.
• Experienced in a delivery driver role previously.
• Understands the importance of exceptional customer service standards.
• Demonstrates punctuality and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
• Customer-focused, motivated to achieve targets, and willing to go beyond expectations.
