Job Overview
Leicestershire County Council invites applications for a permanent full-time Debt Resolution Officer position, based at Leicestershire County Hall, Glenfield, Leicester. The role offers a salary range of A328,605 to A331,029 annually, with pro rata adjustment for part-time work. Candidates will engage in comprehensive credit control duties, emphasizing both debt recovery and dispute resolution with an emphasis on customer support rather than target-driven metrics.
Responsibilities
As a part of the expanding EMSS team, you will manage individual consumer accounts, resolve queries thoroughly, and foster strong relationships with service users. Your role will include enhancing existing procedures to optimize operational effectiveness within the credit control function.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility
The ideal candidate will have a background in finance, accounting, credit control, or collections, with demonstrable experience overseeing consumer credit portfolios. Candidates must be proficient in handling collection procedures, financial compliance, and risk management, and skilled at addressing invoice queries and mitigating aged debt and associated risks.
