Overview

Learning Time Ghana is seeking a diligent Debt Recovery Officer based in Accra, Ghana, to handle collection duties and oversee installment recoveries aligned with monthly targets. This role involves managing a large volume of clients, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, and maintaining strong customer relations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage accounts including invoices, receipts, and payables.
Monitor outstanding debts and actively pursue collections to meet established monthly objectives.
Identify and establish communication with debtors, negotiate payment arrangements, and foster trust.
Reconcile various financial statements such as bank and mobile money documents.
Compile and submit daily activity reports to headquarters.
Address customer inquiries and resolve grievances professionally.

Qualifications and Requirements

Holder of an HND or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Professional accounting certifications are beneficial.
Two to three years of relevant experience, ideally within a corporate environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage collections for extensive clientele (500+ customers).
Competency in accounting software, Microsoft Office, and general computer applications.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational abilities.
Applicants should reside near Circle, Accra.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary of GHS 1,500 per month.
Performance bonuses based on targets achieved: GHS 500 for 90% achievement, GHS 700 for 93%, and GHS 1,000 for 96%.

Work Schedule

Workdays span Monday through Saturday.
