Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated DC Picker to join our Dublin-based facility located in D24. As a key member of the logistics team at Lyreco Group—the leading European and third largest global distributor of workplace products—you will be responsible for selecting stock accurately and efficiently to meet daily operational goals.
Working Hours
This position requires working Monday to Friday from 12pm to 8pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick stock accurately from various shelf heights, ranging from ankle to head level.
- Consistently meet daily targets for accuracy and operational processes.
- Maintain a tidy and safe working environment by clearing waste and organizing the workstation.
- Identify defective products and transfer them to the quarantine area for further inspection.
- Perform tasks that involve standing for extended periods.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to maintain a swift working pace.
- Strong team collaboration skills.
- Capable of picking customer orders accurately within specified tolerance levels.
- Responsible for daily stock bookings from multiple suppliers, achieving a target of 105 lines with 99.85% accuracy.
- Adherence to all health and safety protocols is mandatory.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality essential.
- Experience with SAP software is advantageous but can be learned on the job.
- Physical fitness required to handle stock unloading and managing various containers.
