Data Analyst Intern - Listing and Content, Regional Operations (Fall 2025)

Role Overview

Join Shopee as a Data Analyst Intern within the Listing and Content Regional Operations team for Fall 2025. This position focuses on leveraging advanced data analytics to identify problematic listings and content violations including livestreams and videos. The intern will contribute to maintaining platform integrity and enhancing user experience by mitigating risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize sophisticated data analysis techniques to develop detection strategies targeting problematic Shopee listings and content violations.
• Create dashboards and automate reports to monitor operational efficiency, assess strategy outcomes, and evaluate agent performance.
• Collaborate with product and Data Science teams to aid in the creation of models for enhanced detection accuracy and scope.
• Design and critically assess operational workflows to boost productivity and quality among the teams managing listings and content.
• Conduct thorough investigations into challenges faced by sellers during listing uploads to improve the user journey.
• Manage projects related to launching new initiatives and features, coordinate testing phases, prepare training resources, and track impact across various Shopee markets.

Candidate Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in STEM fields or other disciplines with strong analytical focus.
• Proficiency in data analysis with a preference for knowledge in SQL and/or Python.
• A strong enthusiasm for leveraging data to drive insightful decision-making and process enhancements.
• Curiosity to understand root causes and implications to guide policy formation and feature development.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate well across teams and present findings clearly to management.
• Experience working with diverse stakeholders at different organizational levels.
• Capability to excel in a dynamic, team-oriented environment to advance business objectives.
• Interest in crafting and refining operational processes and systems.
• Preference for full-time internships lasting 3-6 months; however, part-time candidates committing to at least three working days per week are encouraged to apply.
