Role Overview

Join our Data Science team where we tackle challenging problems by applying pragmatic and intelligent approaches. As a Data Analyst, you will collaborate closely with product teams to extract valuable insights, steer decision-making, and enhance the user experience by creating scalable, effective data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze financial data to thoroughly understand business procedures, ensuring booking to accounting accuracy.
Implement accounting functionalities that support launching new products and services.
Design and define critical metrics to evaluate various business elements, utilizing data management tools to optimize financial workflows.
Integrate and maintain data for new business lines into existing financial reporting frameworks, controls, and processes.
Develop and upkeep simplified aggregated data tables and views to facilitate efficient queries.
Collaborate with controllers to enhance dashboards for metric tracking, insight visualization, and business driver identification.
Build and sustain strong relationships with core service and data teams within Finance.
Monitor management information and assess centralized support functions, including service centers.
Foster company-wide data literacy by organizing and leading educational workshops.

Qualifications and Skills

Experience in analytical roles focused on developing impactful data-driven solutions.
Strong educational background in quantitative disciplines.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, or comparable programming languages.
Demonstrated knowledge of advanced mathematics and statistics.

Preferred Additional Skills

Experience with other programming languages such as Java, Scala, or C++.
Holding CPA certification or equivalent.
