About the Company

Role Overview

  • Deliver specialized cybersecurity assistance to the Information Assurance Program concerning maritime information systems.
  • Oversee documentation of information systems aligned with each stage of the systems engineering lifecycle.
  • Contribute to drafting and updating security categorization and control selection documentation.
  • Help maintain and review the inventory of information system interconnections and corresponding agreements.
  • Document security vulnerabilities and formulate initial Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms).
  • Support activities related to security incident response, risk mitigation, and compliance reporting.

Required Qualifications

  • Over 10 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, specifically with expertise in maritime/vessel and IT/OT security domains.
  • Highly desirable background with prior US Navy or Coast Guard Maritime Cyber Security roles.
  • In-depth understanding of NIST Risk Management Framework, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and federal cybersecurity directives.
  • Experience working with Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) and Information Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM) programs.
  • Demonstrated leadership in conducting cybersecurity assessments, compliance audits, and risk management efforts.
  • Possession of an active Public Trust clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
