Customer Service Agent

Role overview

In this Townsville-based position, you will support customers with order processing and general enquiries, helping keep deliveries and service running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently receive customer orders and enter them into internal systems, with training provided.
• Use your understanding of the plant and truck network to track delivery progress and share status updates with customers through vehicle tracking tools.
• Plan ahead to support effective logistics and smart allocation of resources.
• Help ensure orders are fulfilled in a way that supports volume, profitability and strong customer service.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

What we’re looking for

• Genuine customer orientation and a willingness to contribute to a busy order-taking and distribution team.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience in a fast-moving environment, along with strong attention to detail.
• Comfort using computers and digital systems.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing work environment.
