Position Overview

The Custodian will be responsible for maintaining clean, organized, and safe environments at a large Alice Springs facility used for mission and support functions. This role is contingent on contract award and requires working onsite full-time.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure proper stock of cleaning materials, supplies, and equipment at work locations, replenishing as necessary.
• Perform a variety of cleaning and housekeeping tasks to maintain facility standards.
• Comply with all safety protocols, including use of required personal protective equipment.
• Execute additional duties as assigned by facility management.

Required Qualifications

• Proof of US or Australian citizenship.
• Active US Top Secret/SCI or Australian PV Security Clearance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years professional experience in janitorial or housekeeping roles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in Health Support Services and Hospitality.
• Valid driver’s license.
• White Card certification.
• Training in hygiene (food handling) and health safety representation.

Work Environment

This position is based at a 4,400-acre site in Alice Springs encompassing approximately 687,000 square feet of operational and support space. The role requires 100% onsite presence.
