  • Develop and maintain internal legal knowledge bases including contract playbooks and FAQs.
  • Manage incoming legal requests from internal teams via ticketing or communication platforms.
  • Coordinate vendor performance related to the legal team.
  • Compile documentation and prepare materials for audits and regulatory reviews.
  • Handle workflows for domestic and international lending and money transmitter licenses and registrations.
  • Support compliance initiatives and policy rollouts as needed.

Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience as a corporate or commercial paralegal within an AmLaw 200 firm or established in-house legal department.
  • Proven ability to independently lead complex projects and navigate ambiguity.
  • Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, sound judgment, and ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Demonstrated discretion and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
  • Excellent communication skills with internal stakeholders and senior external legal professionals.
  • A problem-solving mindset focused on finding practical solutions.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Proficient with tools such as GSuite or Office365, Adobe Acrobat Pro, DocuSign, virtual data rooms, and contract lifecycle management software like SpotDraft or Ironclad.
  • Preference for candidates based in NYC or willing to travel up to 25% to NYC headquarters.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
