About the Role

Scalemill specializes in assisting technology firms to boost revenue and minimize expenses by establishing off-site inside sales, customer support, and customer success teams focused on customer engagement. The company targets exclusively B2B SaaS products through skilled Sales Development Representatives who secure qualified meetings for demos and product pitches.

As a Contact Research Specialist, your core responsibility will be to conduct thorough research on companies and key decision-makers, gathering and validating accurate business and contact details to build and maintain CRM-ready prospect databases. Utilizing AI and online platforms, you will generate precise prospect lists to support the sales team in their outreach efforts.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Research business information comprehensively using diverse online resources such as Google, LinkedIn, and company websites.
• Identify critical decision-makers and compile detailed prospect lists aligned with project objectives.
• Understand and investigate Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) to target the most relevant prospects per campaign.
• Collect, enrich, and verify business data including names, professional titles, company details, email addresses, and phone numbers.
• Validate emails and phone numbers to guarantee contact accuracy and deliverability.
• Leverage AI-driven research, enrichment, and automation tools to boost research quality and efficiency.
• Manage and maintain clean, accurate, and up-to-date prospect databases adhering to internal and client-specific formats.
• Upload, organize, and maintain data within CRM systems ensuring all records are complete and verified.
• Regularly update and maintain existing databases by refreshing outdated or incomplete information.
• Perform quality assurance checks to ensure data completeness, relevance, and accuracy.
• Detect and eliminate duplicated records, conducting random audits per internal Standard Operating Procedures.
• Explore and assist in implementing new research, enrichment, and automation tools to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Support building and optimizing data scraping and automation workflows in collaboration with management.
• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly research targets and maintain up-to-date reports across Google Sheets, CRM platforms, and internal dashboards.
• Analyze data research trends and recommend improvements to optimize productivity and data quality.
• Collaborate effectively with SDRs, Sales, Operations, and Management to align research outputs with business goals.
• Ensure strict confidentiality and professionalism when handling prospect and client data.
• Adhere to company policies and data privacy regulations to maintain secure and compliant data management practices.

Technical Proficiencies

• Comfortable using computers, smartphones, and standard office software.
• Proficient with Google Workspace products including Gmail, Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
• Experienced in researching via Google, LinkedIn, company websites, and business directories.
• Familiar with CRM platforms and data enrichment tools.
• Knowledgeable of AI-driven research and automation solutions as well as data scraping techniques.
• Experienced in email and phone validation methods to ensure data quality.
• Familiarity with task management tools such as TickTick or other similar applications.

Educational and Professional Background

• Bachelor's degree holder.
• Fluent English skills, both spoken and written, are essential.
• A minimum of two years' verified experience in contact research, lead generation, data enrichment, web research, or related fields.
• Experience working with B2B SaaS companies and CRM systems is advantageous.

Location & Working Hours

This full-time role is based onsite in Clifton, Karachi (Do Talwar) with working hours from 10 AM to 7 PM.
