About Telecon and Opportunity

Telecon is looking for a motivated and career-focused Construction Recruiter to join our expanding team. This fully remote role operates on Pacific Time to support our West Coast activities. The annual salary offered ranges from $65,000 to $85,000, dependent on the candidate's experience, skills, training, and internal parity.

Role Overview

The Construction Recruiter will handle recruitment tasks for designated client segments, working closely with hiring managers to attract and hire top candidates while embodying Telecon's organizational values. This position involves aligning hiring efforts with company goals to meet workforce requirements and support organizational changes.

Primary Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including job postings, resume reviews, interview coordination, and offer letters preparation.
Serve as the central point for all US candidate queries regarding recruitment.
Ensure a positive candidate journey by providing timely updates and feedback during the hiring cycle.
Partner with hiring managers to effectively communicate the role's value proposition and attract qualified applicants.
Advise company leaders on recruitment strategies and be adaptable to evolving business needs.
Create and implement talent acquisition strategies to fill vacancies by sourcing candidates from diverse channels.
Leverage Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and job boards efficiently for candidate sourcing.
Use multiple sourcing methods to identify both active and passive candidates swiftly.
Build and sustain a network of recruiting contacts including online resources to identify talent.
Oversee the background screening process for US hires.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Between 2 to 5 years of experience in recruiting, preferably within construction, field operations, or skilled trades sectors.
A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate at all organizational levels.
Creative sourcing techniques and adaptability to meet diverse hiring needs.
Ability to prioritize and manage several recruitment tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Possess a growth-oriented mindset, open to feedback, eager to learn, and motivated by building new processes.
