Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise concrete crews in daily construction activities.
• Organize and manage formwork, concrete pouring, and sequencing of tasks effectively.
• Interpret construction plans, specifications, and shop drawings accurately.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed and high-quality standards are met throughout the work process.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce company safety policies consistently.
• Track productivity, manage labor allocation, and uphold workmanship quality.
• Collaborate with Superintendents, Project Managers, and other trade teams to coordinate efforts.
• Maintain precise timesheets and ensure accurate cost coding for project expenses.
• Supervise the proper handling and use of tools, machinery, and construction materials.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in concrete construction.
• Prior leadership roles such as Lead Hand or Foreman are preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of concrete forming, placing, and finishing techniques.
• Competent in performing layout work, elevation verification, and tolerance maintenance.
• Experience in heavy civil or infrastructure projects is advantageous.

Work Environment and Conditions

• This position is field-based within active construction sites.
• The role involves physically demanding tasks in variable weather conditions.
• Travel to different project locations such as Bradford and Wasaga Beach may be necessary.

Compensation and Benefits

• Wage range: $46.76 to $49.14 per hour including a 10% foreman premium.
• Pay is issued weekly.
