Communications Game Day Staff

Position Overview

This role involves supporting the communications department throughout the game day process, including activities before, during, and after the game. Key duties include collecting and transcribing post-game player and coach quotes, as well as acting as a host for the Chargers Legends, influencers, and celebrity guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up the press box and post-game interview areas, distributing statistics, managing internal public announcements, media will call, and other game day logistics.
• Support broadcast network and radio booth setups along with stat distribution.
• Manage on-field media rooms and oversee vest distribution to personnel.
• Collect post-game quotes from both home and visiting teams and transcribe them accurately.
• Provide hosting and escort services to Chargers Legends, influencers, and celebrity guests during the event.

Candidate Requirements

• Availability to attend all Chargers home games is mandatory.
• Ability to proficiently transcribe post-game quotes.
• Strong organizational capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• A consistently professional demeanor and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States and possess a valid driver’s license.
