Job description

Job Overview

The Commercial Cleaner is tasked with performing a range of general housekeeping duties within an assigned commercial property to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dust furniture, including desks, chairs, and tables, focusing on exposed surfaces.
  • Clean all mirrors and glassed areas inside the premises, including interior partition glass and doors.
  • Sanitize and polish bathroom fixtures such as toilets, urinals, and sinks.
  • Empty garbage containers and maintain waste bins properly.
  • Refill dispensers with supplies like napkins, soap, tissue, towels, liners, and cups to appropriate levels.
  • Vacuum carpets and sweep and mop all hard floor surfaces.
  • Execute any additional cleaning tasks as directed by clients.
  • Build positive relationships with clients where possible.
  • Deliver cleaning services that exceed client expectations.
  • Adhere strictly to company safety policies during all work activities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Possession of a valid and current Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
  • Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
  • A commitment to maintaining clean commercial environments.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain effective workplace relationships.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to work efficiently in diverse settings.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • At least one year of commercial cleaning experience is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
