Role Overview

The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is a senior leadership position tasked with shaping and executing the comprehensive IT strategy of the organization. This full-time remote role ensures IT operations align with the company's business objectives, emphasizing operational excellence, security, and regulatory compliance. The CIO will guide daily IT activities, manage technology infrastructure and software applications, and spearhead digital transformation projects that impact the entire firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of the overall IT roadmap.

• Drive digital transformation efforts to enhance organizational efficiency and technological innovation.
• Collaborate closely with key executives and stakeholders to optimize business workflows through technology solutions.
• Manage vendor partnerships and maintain control over IT budgeting and resource allocation.
• Build, lead, and mentor an effective IT team while establishing governance practices for risk mitigation and opportunity identification.

Candidate Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of enterprise IT systems, infrastructure, applications, and cybersecurity principles.
• Proven experience overseeing IT operations to ensure high system availability and quality service delivery.
• Demonstrated proficiency in IT management, including leading teams, handling vendors, and controlling budgets.
• Strong background in developing IT strategies and facilitating digital transformation aligned with company goals.
• Skilled in analyzing and enhancing business processes through automation and data-centric methods.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead collaboratively across multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in an executive technology leadership role such as CIO, CTO, or equivalent, preferably in complex organizational settings.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related discipline; advanced degrees or certifications like ITIL, COBIT, or PMP are advantageous.
• Proven capability to manage remote and distributed teams effectively in fully virtual environments.
