About ATLANTIC Hotel Heidelberg
ATLANTIC Hotel Heidelberg, inaugurated in March 2024, stands as the first hotel skyscraper constructed according to passive house standards. Strategically located next to the train station and opposite the Heidelberg Congress Center, it is a convenient base for business travelers, event attendees, and tourists alike. The hotel boasts 15 floors with 310 elegantly appointed rooms and suites, a wellness and fitness center, and eight advanced event spaces featuring natural daylight. A highlight includes a 350 m² ballroom offering panoramic views from the 13th floor.
The extensive dining area located on the 15th floor includes a restaurant, rooftop bar, and adjoining terrace that provide guests and visitors with stunning views of the city alongside excellent food and drinks.
Position Overview
The ATLANTIC Hotel Heidelberg is actively seeking a Chef de Rang (m/f/d) to join the 15 High Restaurant & Bar team on a full-time basis. This role offers a modern, well-equipped workspace with spectacular city views. The Chef de Rang will be responsible for delivering high-quality service to discerning guests in a high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert consultation and service of food and beverages.
- Manage preparatory and follow-up tasks to ensure seamless service flow.
- Ensure full compliance with all quality standards and HACCP hygiene regulations, prioritizing cleanliness and safety.
- Handle reservations for the restaurant.
- Contribute to smooth service operations through teamwork and close coordination with colleagues to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
Candidate Profile
- Preferably holds professional training in hotel or restaurant management.
- Possesses relevant experience in upscale restaurant settings.
- Demonstrates deep product knowledge and effective sales skills.
- Exhibits empathy and is attentive to guest needs.
- Works in a structured, organized, and quality-focused manner.
- Brings creativity, meticulous attention to detail, and enthusiasm to the role.
- Shows high motivation, commitment, and readiness to perform at an excellent level.
- Has proficiency in German or English.
