Role Overview

The Change Manager is a pivotal strategic leader responsible for facilitating a cultural transformation and enterprise-wide embrace of Lidl & Kaufland Asia's shift to a centralized Data Lakehouse on Google Cloud Platform and an advanced Business Intelligence solution, Enterprise Looker Studio. Collaborating closely with senior executives, implementation partners, Group IT, and key business units such as Merchandising, Sourcing, and Production Support, the role ensures the business revolutionizes its data utilization for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic guidance and coaching to senior management and project sponsors, empowering them to actively champion change with consistent messaging and visible support.
  • Implement benefits realization frameworks in partnership with the Analytics Product Manager and business units to instill behaviour changes and workflow modifications that meet adoption targets and deliver ROI.
  • Conduct organizational readiness evaluations to uncover resistance points, skill deficiencies, and risks within various business units.
  • Serve as a key intermediary between technical teams and business stakeholders to align implementations with actual workflows.
  • Build and manage a network of Change Champions comprising influential power users to encourage grassroots engagement with the BI platform.
  • Lead the creation of comprehensive data literacy initiatives aimed at fostering a data-driven culture, enabling staff to understand dashboards, trust governed data, and integrate analytics into routine tasks.
  • Collaborate with implementation teams to tailor training material and data dictionaries specific to business processes.
  • Design a role-specific training matrix targeting executives, power users, and general users focusing on effective use of KPIs, dashboards, and the BI platform.
  • Formulate and execute communication strategies that cover milestones, system changes, legacy data retirement, and new features, translating technical updates into user-friendly information.
  • Engage users in User Acceptance Testing by removing logistical barriers and working with BI product owners.
  • Define, monitor, and analyze adoption KPIs such as login frequency, query volume, and legacy system phase-out.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Organizational Psychology, Information Systems, or a closely related field.
  • A minimum of eight years in organizational change management, especially focused on technology-led data, analytics, or BI transformations including data lakes and dashboard tools.
  • Possession of Prosci, CCMP, or equivalent change management certifications.
  • Demonstrable success in executive coaching, benefits realization, and orchestrating data literacy programs at an enterprise level.
  • Strong analytical ability to interpret readiness assessments and translate insights into actionable change strategies.
  • Excellent skills in stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution, bridging the gap between deployment teams and business readiness.
  • Proficient facilitation and presentation abilities that foster trust and collaboration across diverse groups.
  • Experience or familiarity with retail sourcing, supply chain, or PLM processes is advantageous.
