Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and proficient CCTV Technician to handle the installation, upkeep, and repair of security camera systems along with their related equipment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Set up, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR units, power supplies, and cabling infrastructure.
- Conduct regular system inspections, perform troubleshooting, and carry out repairs to maximize system availability.
- Install cable types including Cat5/Cat6 and coaxial, manage cable routing, and execute trunking or conduit setups.
- Enable remote access to surveillance footage via mobile and computer devices for clients and management.
- Review completed installations and provide operational guidance to customers.
Required Qualifications
- Practical experience with CCTV camera installations, wiring, and network setup.
- Familiarity with camera varieties such as IP, Analog, and PTZ, as well as video management systems.
- Basic knowledge of electrical components and networking, including RJ45 connector crimping, IP addressing, and router setup.
- Adept at diagnosing and resolving technical hardware and cabling problems.
