Overview
Southern Cross Care WA is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to West Australians in need. We are seeking compassionate and experienced Care Workers to join our team on a casual basis at Frank Prendergast House, located in Success, Perth. This residential aged care facility accommodates up to 73 residents, offering a warm and homely environment with spacious amenities.
Role Summary
As a Care Worker, you will assist residents with daily living tasks such as personal care, showering, dressing, and enable social engagement. Your role is essential in fostering a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment while delivering high-standard care under the supervision of the Shift Managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow residents' care plans attentively and accurately.
- Provide personal care support including assistance with showering and dressing.
- Operate under guidance from Nursing and Facility Shift Managers.
- Respect residents and their families with dignity and kindness.
- Demonstrate compassion and patience in all interactions.

Qualifications and Skills
- Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Care qualification is mandatory.

- Excellent communication abilities, both oral and written.
- Strong attention to detail, especially for accurate record keeping.
