Job Overview

The Cabin Agent plays a crucial role ensuring the aircraft cabin and passenger areas are meticulously cleaned and restocked with necessary items such as food, beverages, magazines, and pillows. This must be completed within specific time frames to facilitate timely aircraft departures.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Transport and handle cleaning equipment, trays, and supply cases for aircraft servicing.
• Clean passenger seating sections promptly, vacuum floors, and wipe tray tables to remove all debris.
• Perform aircraft security inspections to meet governmental and company regulations.
• Conduct visual checks of the aircraft to verify no belongings are left onboard and return found items to proper authorities.
• Mop aircraft galleys and dispose of garbage according to designated procedures.
• Replenish magazines, food, beverages, and other supplies within the aircraft.
• Sanitize aircraft lavatories and empty waste containers.
• Arrive punctually and report to assigned posts to ensure efficient servicing and on-time flight departures.
• Load supplies into the cabin service truck and return unused items to their designated storage.
• Maintain an organized and tidy cabin service supply room.
• Monitor inventory levels to confirm sufficient supplies are available for servicing duties.
• Welcome crew members, flight attendants, and passengers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in airport operations or related cleaning roles is preferred.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening prior to employment.
• Availability to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and night shifts.
• Physical capability to lift up to 70 pounds in confined spaces.
• Aptitude to stand, bend, push, and pull for prolonged periods.
• Willingness to work outdoors under varying weather conditions and tolerate elevated noise levels common in airports.

Physical and Communication Requirements

The role demands clear verbal communication in English, the ability to stand for extended durations, lift heavy objects (~70 pounds), respond to emergency relocations, and maintain a professional appearance. Reasonable accommodations will be provided for persons with disabilities as needed.
