Role Overview

As Conversion's inaugural Business Operations team member, you will be integral to the organization's operational foundation. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the company’s financial health, managing legal and administrative tasks, and supporting special projects that bridge marketing and sales. This position requires onsite presence in San Francisco, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage company finances by monitoring cash runway, tracking expenditures, and implementing cost efficiency measures.
• Oversee legal and administrative duties such as managing vendor contracts, office leases, procurement processes, and employee documentation.
• Participate in special cross-functional projects that contribute to scaling the business, even if tasks fall outside defined roles.

Qualifications

• Possess 2 to 5 years of experience in business operations, finance, or chief of staff roles.
• Experience at high-growth startups is highly advantageous.
• A proactive individual who enjoys building systems and processes from the ground up, rather than inheriting existing frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills with a capacity to deconstruct ambiguous problems, develop actionable solutions, and execute independently.
• Excellent communication abilities to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders such as candidates, vendors, and investors, earning their trust swiftly.
• Comfortable working extensively with financial data and performing financial analysis.

Additional Information

This is a full-time, onsite role located in San Francisco, CA. The compensation range for this position is $150,000 to $200,000 annually.
