Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive Business Development Manager based in Singapore to drive full-cycle sales. This role involves handling everything from identifying qualified sales opportunities and negotiating complex multi-jurisdictional contracts to creating new business through partner networks and outbound outreach. The successful candidate will be responsible for converting prospects into lasting clients and managing the Singapore market sales process.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the entire sales process from opportunity qualification to contract signing, ensuring smooth transition to service delivery teams.
- Create, present, and negotiate proposals and engagement letters using Ignition and manage opportunities within HubSpot CRM.
- Generate new leads through targeted events, outreach campaigns, and partner referrals.
- Expand the client base by converting inbound inquiries and cross-selling or upselling to existing clients.
- Negotiate and close high-value multi-jurisdictional agreements effectively.
- Maintain professional client relationships and deliver solution-oriented experiences.
- Contribute to regional sales strategies, including reporting and forecasting activities.
- Develop and manage a network of referral partners such as law firms, banks, chambers of commerce, and consultancies.
- Represent Acclime at networking events, webinars, and industry activities.
- Plan and execute joint marketing initiatives with partner organizations.
- Identify new business opportunities across industries, regions, and service lines to broaden revenue streams.
- Collaborate with colleagues across markets to leverage multi-jurisdictional opportunities and share market insights.
- Support company-wide efforts to enhance Acclime’s brand and sales culture across all operating markets.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in business development or B2B sales, preferably within corporate or professional services and consulting sectors.
- A proven hunter mindset with demonstrated success in securing new clients.
- Strong networking, prospecting and relationship management capabilities.
- Effective negotiation skills with a strong track record of closing deals.
- Self-driven, entrepreneurial spirit with resilience and a goal-oriented attitude.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Industry knowledge in corporate services, accounting, taxation, payroll or advisory is advantageous.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms, ideally HubSpot, and comfort using digital sales tools.
