Beverage & Food Team Leader (BTWN Restaurant)

About the Role

W Sydney is seeking a dedicated Beverage & Food Team Leader to oversee the service and maintenance of our Beverage & Food outlets, primarily BTWN Restaurant located at 31 Wheat Road, Sydney. This role centers on delivering exceptional guest experiences by warmly welcoming guests, ensuring their comfort, and supporting the smooth day-to-day operations in collaboration with venue management. The Team Leader will play a key part in activating signature programming, fostering an energetic environment that reflects the vibrant and bold identity of W Sydney.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership by motivating and guiding team members, setting an example of exceptional service that aligns with the brand's energetic style.
• Manage daily restaurant operations to ensure seamless service flow, timely delivery of food and beverages, and strict adherence to quality standards.
• Interact proactively with guests to anticipate and fulfill their needs, creating personalized and memorable dining experiences.
• Mentor and develop team members to nurture a collaborative and innovative culture focused on continuous growth.
• Oversee inventory and stock levels, ensuring the outlet is well-equipped with beverages, supplies, and guest amenities.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the restaurant, equipment, and storage areas, complying with health and safety regulations.
• Enforce safe work practices and correct use of cleaning chemicals to safeguard team members and guests.
• Collaborate with the wider Beverage & Food team to support events, activations, and initiatives across outlets.
• Promptly identify and report maintenance issues to minimize operational disruptions.
• Represent the W Hotels brand by embodying its style, energy, and innovative spirit in all interactions.
