Beaming Creeler

Job Summary

The Beaming Creeler plays a vital role in producing quality beams for the Weaving Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate promptly with the Weaving/Beaming Supervisor and Operation Manager regarding any issues or quality defects to reduce ongoing problems.
• Ensure a tidy and safe work environment is maintained throughout the shift.
• Properly use and maintain essential job tools such as safety glasses, ear protection, scissors, etc.

Performance Expectations

• Ability to lift weights up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Endure standing on concrete floors for entire shifts.
• Be prepared for prolonged periods of walking, stooping, and reaching over the loom.
• Adapt to working in busy, hot conditions effectively.
• Exhibit a hands-on approach and mechanical aptitude.

Experience and Education

• Preference for candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills, including reading, writing, and simple arithmetic operations.
• Familiarity with computers or data entry tasks as part of daily duties.
• Capability to operate a lift truck and willingness to complete required lift truck training.

Additional Information

• Occasional overtime work may be necessary.
• Carry out any other assigned tasks as required.
• Immediate reporting of any accidents is mandatory.
• Perform daily safety checks on machines.
• Accountability for the quality and safety of the individual’s output.
