Role overview
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of a high-value retail business. The role involves leading operations, improving sales performance, motivating the team, and helping ensure customers receive efficient service.
What you will do
- Support the development of store team members through coaching and training.
- Maintain excellent standards of safety, cleanliness, and store presentation.
- Oversee stock control, monitor inventory levels, and reduce losses.
- Work on the shop floor as needed, including registers, shelf replenishment, and merchandising special buys.
- Spot opportunities to improve processes and store performance.
- Help the store run smoothly so customers continue to receive a strong shopping experience.
- Take charge of the store when the Store Manager is away on leave.
