Assistant Site Engineer

About the Role

Aarna Constructions & Interiors is seeking a Civil Site Engineer dedicated to overseeing residential and commercial building projects located in Greater Noida and Noida areas. The role involves close supervision of construction activities to ensure quality and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily construction operations onsite.
• Implement work based on validated architectural and structural plans.
• Inspect reinforcement, shuttering, RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring and finishing processes.
• Collaborate with contractors, laborers, vendors, and project managers for smooth execution.
• Verify column, beam, slab, and footing reinforcement before concreting.
• Prepare and validate quantity estimates and material requirements.
• Keep detailed daily logs of site progress and completed tasks.
• Monitor material usage to minimize waste and ensure efficient resource management.
• Ensure construction workmanship meets quality standards.
• Conduct checks on levels, dimensions, alignment, and onsite measurements.
• Manage concrete casting and other crucial construction steps.
• Maintain basic documentation including site records, measurements, photographic evidence, and progress reports.
• Ensure project timelines are strictly followed for work completion.
• Proactively identify any site-related issues and communicate with senior engineers or project management to facilitate solutions.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering.
• Preferred practical experience of 1 to 2 years in site engineering roles.
• Strong knowledge of RCC (Reinforced Cement Concrete) and building construction techniques.
• Ability to interpret structural and architectural drawings accurately.
• Familiarity with reinforcement detailing, Bar Bending Schedule (BBS), and quantity calculations is advantageous.
• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel beneficial.
• Comfortable managing labor and contractor teams on site.
• Responsible, disciplined, and able to commit to full-time work at project locations.
