We are looking for an Architectural Designer to join our Phoenix team, contributing to all stages of healthcare design and project delivery. Candidates may be considered for either Architectural Designer I or II, contingent on their qualifications and experience. Architectural Designer I (non-exempt) supports design development, documentation, and technical coordination under guidance from project leaders. Architectural Designer II (exempt) independently advances parts of project scope with minimal supervision and collaborates closely with project leaders, consultants, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Create design solutions, coordinate, and manage production activities across all project phases using an iterative collaborative process including sketching, 2D/3D modeling, and computational techniques aligned with project objectives.
• Investigate and promote regenerative strategies in designing and improving the built, social, and natural environments.
• Prepare design presentations and assist with project documentation through creative and technical detailing.
• Coordinate Building Information Modeling (BIM) models with consultants and review consultant/vendor drawings to ensure alignment.
• Support construction administration alongside Project Architects and on-site staff by conducting site observations and verifications.
• Research materials such as exterior finishes, wall assemblies, waterproofing methods, and solutions for vertical circulation.
• Utilize software tools including Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Revit/BIM 360, and develop familiarity with Rhino, Enscape, and Lumion.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years professional architectural design experience and possession of a professional Architecture degree.
• Experience in healthcare design is preferred; however, candidates showing genuine enthusiasm for building a career in healthcare design are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledgeable about building codes, construction documentation processes, and BIM workflows.
• Possess a collaborative and inquisitive approach, with meticulous attention to quality and a deep sense of responsibility regarding design's impact on people and the environment.
• For Architectural Designer II applicants: Proven capability to independently progress project components with limited oversight, effectively liaising with project leads, consultants, and clients.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is $55,000 to $85,000, varying by location, accreditation, experience, and job responsibilities. Specific salary details will be provided during the hiring process.
