Architect CAD & Construction Documentation Specialist - Remote Contract

Job Overview

We are seeking an Architect skilled in CAD and construction documentation to work remotely on a contract basis. The role involves creating detailed architectural plans, developing CAD drawings, and preparing precise manufacturing documentation including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Additionally, this position requires producing and annotating multi-sheet electrical schematics and designing PCB layouts with an emphasis on manufacturability and functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate detailed floor plans and elevation drawings aligned with project specifications.
• Create comprehensive CAD drawings for both architectural and engineering applications.
• Develop accurate GD&T callouts for manufacturing documents.
• Produce and annotate multi-sheet electrical schematics following industry standards.
• Design and review PCB layouts integrating best practices to ensure both manufacturability and operational efficiency.
• Engage in collaborative exchanges to clarify project requirements and resolve technical challenges.
• Deliver complete and precise documentation packages that meet project milestones and quality benchmarks.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• At least 3 years of recent experience in architectural CAD work and construction documentation.
• Proficiency with standard 2D/3D CAD software tools and PCB layout design applications.
• Demonstrated ability to produce and understand GD&T callouts and intricate schematic diagrams.
• Experience crafting multi-sheet electrical schematics and integrating PCB layouts within building projects.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities for handling extensive documentation sets.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Experience working remotely on cross-functional projects is advantageous.
