Role Overview

This position operates at the crossroads of strategic finance, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and compensation analytics. The role entails collaboration across teams, driving strategic initiatives involving financial modeling and project execution, managing key FP&A functions such as reporting and dashboard development, and supporting portfolio manager compensation through data analysis, accounting, and preparing presentation materials. It is suited for a keen and detail-focused analyst seeking broad finance exposure and the opportunity to influence firm-wide decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain comprehensive financial models to assist in business decision-making and structuring projects.
• Lead intricate, detailed projects by coordinating deliverables, engaging with stakeholders, and consolidating extensive data into clear, actionable insights.
• Produce consistent financial reports and dashboards, emphasizing clear and succinct insights.
• Create high-grade management presentations.
• Support portfolio manager compensation functions, including data management, accounting, analysis, and reporting.
• Generate analyses and presentation documents for stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with Finance, Legal, Trading, and Operations teams to support shared goals.
• Effectively communicate analytical findings both verbally and in writing.

Candidate Profile

• Between 2 to 5 years of relevant analytical experience in investment banking, consulting, transaction advisory, FP&A, or similar fields.
• Hold a bachelor's degree in Finance, Analytics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Possess advanced proficiency in Excel, capable of creating complex models independently.
• Strong skills in PowerPoint and delivering presentations.
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
• Detail-oriented with a personal sense of accountability for deliverables.
• Ability to handle multiple workstreams efficiently in a high-paced environment.
• Experience within financial services, capital markets, or hedge fund environments is preferred.
