Job Role and Responsibilities
The position available is for an Accounts Executive or Accounts Officer responsible for handling everyday accounting and finance operations. Key duties include maintaining transactional books using Tally, managing purchase and sales records along with receipts and payments, reconciling vendor and subcontractor ledgers, bank reconciliation and overseeing payment processing.
Additional responsibilities involve managing GST and TDS accounting compliance, verifying and preparing vendor and subcontractor invoices, maintaining accounts and expense records by project, aiding in client billing processes and documentation, coordinating accounting information with site and project teams, supporting audits, MIS, and financial reporting, and ensuring proper upkeep of accounting and statutory documentation.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have between 3 to 7 years of relevant experience, preferably with exposure to construction, infrastructure, or project accounting. Proficiency in Tally, GST, TDS, and MS Excel is essential. Experience in vendor and subcontractor account reconciliation is also required. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication and coordination skills, meticulous attention to detail, documentation expertise, and the ability to work autonomously with accountability for assigned tasks.
