Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site position in Jodhpur for an Account Manager. The role focuses on managing relationships with important retail partners and local stakeholders while ensuring efficient day-to-day operations and service quality. The position requires close coordination with internal teams, regular performance tracking, and support for regional business growth.
Key Accountabilities
- Handle store account management and maintain strong working relationships with key partners.
- Track sales performance, inventory movement, and overall account health.
- Work with merchandising and marketing teams to execute in-store initiatives and promotional plans.
- Resolve operational issues promptly and ensure alignment with company service standards.
- Prepare routine reports highlighting account performance and future growth opportunities.
- Conduct periodic business reviews with partners and support corrective action where needed.
- Maintain accurate records to help guide business decisions and improve execution.
- Support cross-functional collaboration and contribute to expansion in the assigned region.
Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates should bring strong account management and relationship-building skills, along with the ability to establish trust and maintain long-term partnerships. Experience in sales operations, retail, or e-commerce account handling is important, especially where targets, stock, and promotions are involved. The role also calls for strong communication and negotiation abilities, analytical thinking, reporting capability, and comfort using spreadsheets, dashboards, and data-based insights. Good organization, time management, and the ability to manage several accounts and deadlines in a fast-moving setting are essential. A bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred; exposure to retail or FMCG environments will be an added advantage. Applicants should be fluent in English and local languages, customer-focused, and confident in solving problems. Willingness to work from Jodhpur and make periodic field visits is also required.
