Overview
This role involves proactively driving revenue within the New Business Team for Personal Lines by utilizing a digital sales platform. As Personal Lines undergoes a significant digital transformation, Account Executives will manage incoming calls and inquiries from users of the platform, facilitating sales across a diverse product portfolio. The position emphasizes employing sales tactics to up-sell and cross-sell the company's products to new customers and collaborating with the team manager for cross-selling opportunities across the broader group. The role is hybrid, requiring attendance at the office three days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify target customer segments and generate fresh business opportunities.
- Collaborate with the team manager to optimize call flows and manage the volume of customer calls and inquiries related to sales support and closure across various products.
- Guide potential customers through the sales journey by highlighting product benefits and coverage options.
- Initiate outbound calls to prospects who have not completed online sales, assisting them to finalize purchases over the phone.
- Engage in specific sales campaigns under direction of the team manager to boost additional sales via the digital platform.
- Build trusting and effective relationships with customers by anticipating needs, communicating information clearly, and fulfilling commitments.
- Resolve customer issues related to queries, quotations, and other concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a professional image to consistently meet or surpass customer service expectations.
- Take personal accountability for ensuring accuracy and quality of work output.
- Respond timely and professionally to enquiries from customers, staff, and management.
- Participate cooperatively within the team to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled.
- Work collaboratively to achieve monthly and annual sales objectives.
- Partner with the team manager and compliance team to ensure that client file records adhere to required quality standards.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Proven strong sales expertise with a minimum of two years’ sales and relay experience in an insurance brokerage setting.
- Compliance with the Central Bank's Minimum Competency Requirements, specifically holding an APA qualification in Personal General Insurance as a baseline, with eagerness to pursue further related educational credentials.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm and adaptability towards a dynamic workplace.
- Ability to navigate and excel in a fast-moving, continually changing environment.
- Robust IT proficiency; experience with Relay or similar systems is advantageous.
