About Devasya Welfare Foundation

Devasya Welfare Foundation is a youth-led NGO in India, established in June 2021 by Vijay Chauhan and Vidhi Baria. It operates as a registered Section 8 organization with an 80G certificate, allowing tax-exempt donations. The foundation aims to foster a happier, healthier society by supporting underprivileged children and communities through initiatives such as menstrual hygiene awareness (Project Rohini), birthday events for disadvantaged kids, free medical camps, educational drives, vocational training, and food distribution campaigns. Currently active in Vadodara, Surat, and Ahmedabad, the organization offers online volunteering opportunities nationwide and plans to expand to more cities soon.

Internship Role & Responsibilities

• Leverage social media platforms to generate funds for social causes associated with the foundation.
• Promote crowdfunding campaigns widely across social networks to maximize engagement and contributions.
• Keep accurate daily records of donations received, supporter participation, and overall fundraising progress.
• Maintain professional communication while representing the foundation in interactions with donors, sponsors, and campaign participants.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be available to work remotely for this internship.
• Should be able to commence the internship between July 15, 2026, and August 19, 2026.
• Availability for a one-week duration is required.
• Relevant interests and skills in social media marketing, campaigning, and communication are necessary.
• Women looking to launch or restart their careers are encouraged to apply.

Stipend & Benefits

The internship offers a stipend ranging from INR 4,000 to 6,500, inclusive of a fixed pay component between INR 1,500 and 2,500 and incentive pay from INR 2,500 to 4,000. Additional perks include a certificate of completion, a letter of recommendation, flexible working hours, and a five-day workweek.
