Zion, a subsidiary of Specter Products LLP, is an emerging direct-to-consumer (D2C) brand specializing in high-quality pickleball gear. As pickleball rapidly gains popularity nationwide, this internship offers an opportunity to join us in establishing India's first globally recognized homegrown sports brand through premium paddles, courts, and engaging community experiences.
Role and Responsibilities
- Oversee daily management of the pickleball court and its operations to ensure smooth functioning.
- Provide a welcoming atmosphere and assist players, ensuring customers receive excellent service.
- Organize and drive community-building initiatives such as events, mixers, and league play to grow the pickleball community.
- Handle court reservations and respond promptly to players' inquiries to maintain satisfaction.
- Maintain high standards for the court, equipment, and venue cleanliness and readiness.
- Capture basic photographs and videos highlighting community activities for social media engagement.
- Work collaboratively with coaches, staff, and management to facilitate efficient daily operations.
- Identify and implement strategies to boost player engagement and repeat visits.
Candidate Eligibility and Requirements
- Must be available for a full-time, in-office internship based in Mumbai.
- Internship start date between August 5, 2026, and September 9, 2026, with a duration of six months.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric attitude.
- Be proactive, friendly, and have a genuine interest in sports, fitness, or community development.
- Comfortable using WhatsApp, Google Sheets, and managing booking platforms.
- Prepared to work evenings and weekends corresponding with court operating hours.
- Previous experience in event management, hospitality, sports, or customer service is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Open to women seeking to initiate or restart their careers as well as fresh graduates.
Compensation and Benefits
- Monthly stipend ranging from ₹8,500 to ₹15,000, composed of a fixed amount (₹7,500 - ₹10,000) plus incentives (₹1,000 - ₹5,000).
- Letter of recommendation upon successful completion.
- Opportunity for a job offer with an annual salary of ₹200,000 upon conversion to a permanent role.
