Role Overview

The YouTube Growth Manager position, based in Dublin, is a full-time role responsible for growing and engaging the channel's audience through multiple core areas:

• Leading film launch campaigns from pre-release buildup to ongoing engagement after release.
• Identifying and repurposing valuable footage into formats like Shorts and clips to reach wider audiences, including performing basic video editing.
• Driving subscriber expansion by optimizing titles, thumbnails, metadata, publishing schedules, and Shorts strategies while incorporating AI tools seamlessly into the workflow.
• Maintaining an active social media community across platforms such as YouTube, X, LinkedIn, and Bluesky to keep audiences engaged between releases.

Candidate Profile

• A genuine passion for YouTube as a platform, beyond career motivations.
• Experience growing a YouTube channel from scratch or significantly increasing engagement.
• Ability to execute basic video editing tasks independently to create Shorts without needing filmmaker assistance.
• Comfort and fluency with AI tools integrated naturally within content workflows.
• Self-motivated with proactive initiative in identifying and completing necessary tasks.
• Culturally aware and sensitive to community context.
• A deep respect and admiration for open source software culture.
