Job Overview

Dynamic Safety Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated Youth Worker to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in Singapore. In this role, you will design and deliver programs focusing on life skills, behavioral skills, and emotional regulation to help students grow socially and emotionally.

Primary Duties

• Design and execute programs that develop life skills, behavior skills, and emotional regulation tailored to student needs.
• Offer group and one-on-one support based on individual student requirements.
• Cultivate strong, positive relationships to aid social and emotional progress.
• Collaborate closely with the school's Special Educational Needs Officer (SENO), educators, and counseling team.
• Support the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for applicable students.
• Keep detailed session documentation and produce reports tracking student progress.
• Adhere to child protection policies and promptly raise any welfare concerns as per school guidelines.
• Customize program content to match developmental needs of each student.

Qualifications and Experience

• Must be registered with the Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE).
• Possess at least a Diploma in Youth Work, Social Work, Special Education, Psychology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of two years experience working with children or youth who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly those with Intellectual Disability (ID), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
• Familiarity with positive behavior support approaches and trauma-informed care is advantageous.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
