About the Role
Join our team as a Workshop Technician at our Edwardstown facility, where you will engage in repairing and maintaining gaming machines to ensure their optimal functionality. This role involves troubleshooting faults, implementing efficient and cost-effective repair solutions, and contributing to process improvements in our workshop. You will work a Monday to Friday schedule with flexible start times around 7:00am to 3:00pm, allowing for free afternoons. Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining the performance and reliability of our gaming equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and ongoing maintenance on gaming machines to uphold consistent operation and dependability.
- Analyze faults promptly and provide cost-efficient technical fixes.
- Streamline workshop procedures to enhance service quality and reduce turnaround durations.
- Accurately document all repair activities, maintenance work, and technical discoveries.
- Contribute to continuous process and technical improvements through knowledge sharing.
- Work closely with team members to meet established service and quality objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in servicing electronic or electro-mechanical devices or related equipment.
- Possession of Certificate II in Electronics or an equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage time.
- Advanced technical aptitude and troubleshooting capabilities with a solution-oriented approach.
- Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematic diagrams correctly.
