Role Overview
We are partnering with a client who requires a Workday HRIS Consultant to aid in integrating two newly acquired companies into their current Workday system. This contract position involves collaborating closely with HR, Payroll, and implementation teams to facilitate a seamless transition during this integration project.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the transfer of employee information into the existing Workday tenant.
- Act as the subject matter expert on Workday HCM and Payroll systems.
- Support HR functions including onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, and organizational data maintenance.
- Ensure accuracy of employee data and contribute to testing procedures throughout the integration process.
- Collaborate effectively with HR, Payroll, IT, and implementation teams to maintain proper system setup and data consistency.
- Troubleshoot functional issues related to Workday during integration and offer support as needed.
- Assist with generating reports, conducting audits, and handling miscellaneous HRIS projects when required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of three years of practical experience working with HRIS systems, with substantial hands-on expertise in Workday.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Workday HCM modules including payroll, onboarding, benefits, and employee data management.
- Proven experience supporting Workday in a live production setting.
- Strong grasp of HR operational processes and data governance principles.
- Excellent communication skills capable of fostering collaboration across different departments.
