Job Overview

We are currently seeking a Waste Watcher+ to join our team at Stadtreinigung Hamburg as soon as possible. This full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute to public cleanliness and environmental safety in Hamburg.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and document illegal waste disposals in public areas.
• Provide guidance to Hamburg citizens regarding proper waste disposal.
• Enforce regulations related to pollution offenses.
• Issue warnings and fines for violations.
• Record personal details and initiate administrative offense procedures.
• Engage in public relations activities, including media accompaniment, conducting interviews, and organizing clean-up discussions.
• Participate in winter maintenance duties.

Candidate Profile

• Completed commercial training, preferably in administrative fields.
• Enjoy working with regulations and legal frameworks.
• Proficient in MS Office applications is advantageous.
• Confident and clear communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to maintain an appropriate tone.
• Flexible availability and openness to continuing education.
• Physically fit and comfortable with walking during work hours.
• Strong interpersonal skills; resilient, assertive, and able to remain motivated and courteous under stress.
• Possession of a valid Class B driving license.
