About the Role
The Warehouse Storekeeper plays a critical role in managing the hospital's inventory by handling the receipt, storage, issuance, and maintenance of both medical and non-medical supplies. This position ensures the smooth operation of stock management in the hospital warehouse, guaranteeing that all supplies are appropriately stored and distributed efficiently to various hospital departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming supplies, inspect them for quality, store them properly, and issue materials following the hospital's protocols.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of inventory and continuously monitor stock levels to maintain required supply availability.
- Perform regular stock audits, reconcile inventory data, and implement stock rotation procedures to prevent shortages, excess, or expired items.
- Ensure that all supplies are stored following safety, quality, and storage guidelines to maintain integrity and compliance.
Qualifications
- Possess a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
- Bring 1 to 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or storekeeping functions.
- Previous exposure to healthcare or hospital environments is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and warehouse processes is advantageous.
