Role Overview
As a Warehouse Operator at Bega Group's Salisbury facility in Adelaide, you will play a vital role in maintaining efficient and safe distribution operations. This position involves handling stock, operating forklifts, and ensuring timely product deliveries while upholding stringent safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely, adhering strictly to safety protocols.
- Manage loading and unloading of trucks and inbound deliveries, including temperature-controlled freight.
- Accurately pick, stage, and rotate inventory to support punctual customer shipments.
- Keep warehouse and cool room areas clean, orderly, and compliant with hygiene regulations.
- Report any hazards or safety concerns promptly through clear communication with team members and stakeholders.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a valid forklift license with a minimum of 12 months' experience in warehouse or logistics settings.
- Prioritize safety, teamwork, and adherence to correct procedures.
- Communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a team.
- Comfortable using basic technology such as scanners, tablets, Excel, and Outlook.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach, eagerness to learn, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Additional Information
