Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Stay informed of daily events and recognize any VIP guest arrivals.
• Thoroughly learn the menu, including garnishes, ingredients, and preparation, and courteously convey this information to guests upon inquiry.
• Offer children’s menus when suitable and describe special dishes and alternative food options.
• Serve and clear food and drinks discreetly and professionally during service.
• Operate the POS system for billing, printing receipts, closing checks, and handling the cash-out process.
• Manage trays, clear tables, and reset with appropriate linens, china, glassware, and silverware.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by responding to concerns and notifying management of any issues and their resolution.
• Adhere strictly to cash and credit card procedures following accounting department protocols.
• Keep the restaurant clean, orderly, and well-maintained throughout service times.
• Polish silverware and replenish condiments such as salt, pepper, sugar, and creamers regularly.
• Maintain a well-stocked workstation with necessary condiments consistently.
• Report guest feedback related to food and beverages promptly to the manager.
• Carefully handle and maintain equipment used during service.
• Comply with safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards at all times.
• Build and sustain good working relationships with colleagues and other hotel departments.
• Stay fully aware of all food and beverage outlets and hotel amenities and services.
• Carry out opening and closing duties, including setting all tables according to standards.
• Notify management of any deviations from established service standards and procedures.
• Keep service and storage areas safe, clean, and organized.
• Minimize waste, mishandling, breakages, and neglect of supplies and equipment.
• Perform light cleaning and maintenance tasks within the outlet.
• Provide support to other Food & Beverage outlets during busy periods as needed.
