Visual Design Specialist - Fully Remote Contract Role

This is a contract position offering remote work from Australia, compensating between $80 to $150 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop precise, task-oriented grading rubrics for tangible design outputs like brand identity systems, campaign visuals, and packaging prototypes.
• Evaluate work samples—both AI-generated and human-created—against defined standards, articulating detailed justifications for each evaluation score.
• Consistently apply evidence-based judgments to guarantee scoring reproducibility and defensibility.
• Integrate structured critiques from senior reviewers and iterate swiftly to enhance outcomes.
• Work autonomously and communicate asynchronously to meet deadlines while contributing to AI model refinement.

Qualifications

• Over five years of professional experience in graphic, brand, or visual design domains.
• Experience with top-tier design studios, creative agencies, or senior design roles within leading consumer or technology companies.
• Comprehensive expertise in typography, layout, visual hierarchy, color theory, composition, and brand system development.
• Exceptional written communication abilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail and comfort with judgment being reviewed and scrutinized.
• Preferred: Previous involvement with AI training, evaluation, or projects combining human data and AI.
