Position Overview
This role is strictly open to candidates aged 18 to 28 holding French or European nationality, aligned with relevant regulations. The position begins on November 1, 2026, lasting 24 months. You will be supporting the Construction Contracts Engineer on-site at the North Field South (NFS) project in Ras Laffan, Qatar, as part of a joint venture between Technip Energies and Consolidated Contractors Group (T. ENCCC JV).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a thorough understanding of contractual and commercial processes for construction contracts, especially those related to the NFS project.
- Assist the local manager by managing requests for additional work submitted by subcontractors.
- Monitor and handle cost and extension-of-time claims involving subcontractors.
- Track monthly invoicing and payments to subcontractors systematically.
- Organize and participate in weekly meetings with subcontractors to ensure smooth coordination.
- Prepare monthly activity reports focusing on construction contracts.
- Draft and manage contract amendments and maintain related correspondence.
- Collaborate with teams in Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Scheduling, and other disciplines to guarantee uninterrupted subcontractor service delivery and safeguard company interests against possible claims.
- Engage in site operations through regular visits and participations in health, safety, and environment (HSE) inspections.
Candidate Profile
- You are a graduate from a general engineering school.
- Eager to gain hands-on experience on a major onshore LNG project’s execution.
- Highly meticulous with strong teamwork abilities; proactive and professional in tackling job challenges.
- Enjoy handling contractual, financial matters, and commercial negotiations.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills to effectively resolve issues and thrive in diverse cultural and environmental settings.
- Motivated, resilient, and willing to work at a demanding construction site.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written, with strong command in reading and communication.
