Valuation Analyst

Job Overview

We are looking to hire an Analyst or Graduate Valuer who specializes in conducting property valuations for varied purposes. This position involves engaging with a diverse clientele, including local and international banks, private wealth clients, multinational corporations, and government agencies. Based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the role may encompass projects across the Kingdom and occasionally the wider Middle East region. Candidates ideally should be working towards or planning to pursue TAQEEM certification to qualify as a member of TAQEEM.

Key Duties

• Conduct valuations of properties including land, apartments, villas, offices, warehouses, and buildings—encompassing existing, new builds, and those under construction—ensuring accurate market value advice and guidance.
• Execute valuation projects involving on-site inspections, valuation calculations, comprehensive report writing, and client presentations.
• Gather market data from both internal and external sources relating to Middle East property markets.
• Maintain and update databases in collaboration with research and valuation team members.
• Collaborate with other departments to acquire and share relevant market data.
• Prepare detailed reports based on collected assignment data as requested.
• Establish and nurture relationships with companies, institutions, and other entities to promote Savills Middle East's services and gain insights into upcoming or potential projects.
• Contribute to fee generation in line with the role's expectations as determined by management.
• Demonstrate strong presentation skills, conveying information clearly and concisely both verbally and in written report form.
• Coordinate and oversee instructions efficiently, ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality.
• Manage multiple assignments simultaneously with effectiveness.
• Escalate significant issues to Partners and Surveyors when necessary.
• Handle commercial property inquiries and advise clients on suitable options.
• Support team members in meeting their individual and departmental objectives.
• Participate in internal and external networking events and professional development sessions (CPD).
• Assist in expanding the client base and fostering business development with existing contacts.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Real Estate or Finance.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Valid driving license in Saudi Arabia.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in the Saudi market is strongly preferred.
• Sound business acumen, particularly within the real estate sector.
• Broad understanding of related discipline principles and practices.
• Willingness to travel across Saudi Arabia for research and property inspections.
• Strong negotiation and persuasion capabilities.
• Proficient in producing reports and well-organized work output.
• Proactive attitude and strong team collaboration skills.
• Based in Riyadh or open to relocation.
