Overview
We are seeking a qualified professional with a minimum of 2 years experience in retail, mall management, or administration combined with facility management expertise. Candidates must hold a technical diploma or degree (B.Tech / B.E / Diploma) to effectively lead the administrative and maintenance functions at our store in Patna.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure seamless store operations focusing on maintenance, housekeeping, security, and administrative support.
- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks for equipment, fixtures, and infrastructure.
- Supervise civil, electrical, and general facility upkeep activities.
- Maintain accurate records of store fixtures and assets.
- Manage spare parts, repairs, and service schedules.
- Monitor and optimize energy usage and promote energy-saving initiatives.
- Coordinate with government authorities such as fire departments, RTO, and labour offices.
- Manage vendor relations including negotiations, quotations, purchase orders, and contracts.
- Procure non-trading items and oversee fixed asset maintenance.
- Ensure timely renewal of contracts, licenses, statutory approvals, and AMC agreements along with invoice reconciliations.
- Oversee housekeeping, security, and reception operations, scheduling staff in collaboration with agency supervisors.
- Implement and monitor compliance with operational checklists, store surveillance, and key custody protocols.
- Manage incident reporting and responses, including shoplifting as per standard operating procedures.
- Conduct training for housekeeping and security personnel on conduct, safety, theft prevention, and emergency procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety, fire, labour, and other statutory regulations.
- Coordinate safety audits and emergency preparedness drills.
- Maintain documentation related to facility inventory, scrap disposal, and administrative records.
Additional Information
Candidates will be responsible for improving operational efficiency of equipment and utilities as part of continuous improvement initiatives.
