Role overview

Network Plus is hiring a site-based Turnkey for the United Utilities programme, supporting water mains renewal work across the Northwest. The role is centred on operational support for shutdown activities and site compliance, with coverage across Manchester, Cheshire, Merseyside, and Lancashire.

What you will do

• Carry out valve shut operations in line with the agreed risk assessments.
• Complete full valve assessments before work begins on each scheme.
• Carry out customer carding when needed.
• Develop effective working relationships with on-site operations teams and customer stakeholders.
• Work in coordination with the United Utilities network team.
• Support site investigations by identifying and locating services and assets.
• Help maintain strong standards of water hygiene, water quality, and site compliance.

Skills and experience needed

Successful applicants should bring practical knowledge of the water sector, hands-on mains renewal or water rehabilitation experience, and a strong understanding of water hygiene requirements. The role also requires NRSWA accreditation, CALM network training, and a valid UK driving licence.
